Frederick Hall served with Strathclyde Police for 31 years. During his distinguished career as a Police Diver, Diving Supervisor with the Underwater Search Unit and Police Diving Instructor with the National Diving School he served as a Constable, Sergeant, and thereafter as the Inspector in charge of the Unit. He was later appointed Co - ordinator of the Scottish Police Service Accelerated Promotion Scheme for Graduates and an instructor in Leadership Management Division at the Scottish Police College. He retired from the force in 2009 as Chief Inspector in charge of Oban, Lorn and the Isles. He has uniquely managed, provided and has been an end user of police diving teams. As such he is well placed to understand the clients need. He holds the requisite diving and teaching qualifications including.
Stephen Toft served in Strathclyde Police Underwater Search Unit and National Diving School as Diving Supervisor, Chief Diving Instructor, Operational Planning Officer and Chief Dive Technician. He spent a total of 15 years in this role amassing an unrivalled level of operational and instructional experience in this field. He was responsible for successfully supervising and also diving on the deepest, most complex and technically demanding operations ever undertaken by any Police Dive Team. Stephen is the most highly qualified and experienced Police Diving Instructor in the U.K. and is an Instructor with the International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers delivering training in the Technical Diving field. 1974 - Commenced employment with British Steel, completed 5 years as Electrical and Electronic Engineer.
1980 - Sports Diver, Kilmarnock S.A.C.
1979 - 1984 Offshore UK Sector -various Electrical Installation projects.
1984 - Diver training school, Fort William - completed HSE part one Air Diver.
1984 - 1991 Land & Marine Engineering working on overseas projects, Air Diving Supervisor, Sri Lanka, Bombay, Arabian Gulf, Madagascar, Malta, Portugal.
1991-1995 Clydeport Operations Limited – Air Diving Supervisor.
1993 Set up Clyde Commercial Diving Company Limited – Diving Contractor working on all major Diving projects within UK and overseas.
Also worked with Strathclyde Police Underwater Search Unit for approximately 4 years (Support).
2010 - Clyde Commercial Diving Company Limited is still proving to be a major player in the commercial diving industry.
